About Us

About Hooves and Paws Equestrian Centre

Hooves and Paws is an Equestrian Learning Centre providing recognised progressive and measurable education in Riding, Horse Care and Management.


Hooves and Paws Equestrian Centre was established in 2004 by Kelly Wilson and now consists of over fifty horses, 6 sheep, 4 goats, 12 pigs, 8 hens, a cockerel, a peahen and a peacock. However, we are slowly getting bigger!


We pride ourselves on best practice and the ethical care of our happy healthy animals whilst we are more than a Riding School we are an Equestrian Learning Centre.


We also offer Livery Packages to meet each individual clients needs.

Beautiful Landscapes and Facilities

We are situated in a pituresque location on the outskirts of Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire in Scotland. ​


Our facilities include: a Large Indoor Arena with seating and viewing gallery with Ten holding stables. 


The Indoor Arena was originally opened in August 2006 and 35 certificates were awarded to both clients and special needs groups for achievements in Stable Management and TRSS levels. 


The Large Outdoor Arena contains an all weather surface and has facilities for Jumping.

Additional Support Needs Lessons

Over these years we have been working along side Social Services, Reach, Alternative to Care, and Primary Schools with additional support units and other organisations.


Throughout this time we have developed our facilities and skills to meet the needs of these Special people who have physical, mental, emotional & social challenges to face. 


We have achieved great success and satisfaction in these areas.
